Meet the Team

I come from a farming background, having worked on the family Stud Dairy Farm until I was 23, then entered the Real Estate profession and established my own Real Estate Company, Gillman Real Estate Ltd (one of the Largest Independent Real Estate Companies in New Zealand) which I ran for 26 years and had a staff of over 150 people. During my years in Real Estate I also established several other companies Gillman Property Management Ltd, (managing 750 Properties) Gillman Body Corporate Ltd and established New Zealand Independent Realtors.

 I later in 2000 franchised Gillman Real Estate and sold my interest in the company. In 2004 I co-founded and was the Manger Director of Priority Finance Ltd, we were one of the few finance companies that survived the Global Financial Crisis, we sold this business in 2009. Since then I established and have been successfully operating Bright Enterprise Holdings Ltd.

I am from Southland Invercargill, married to Grant McCarthy and have 3 children. I come from a banking back ground and started working for Noel and Lynne @ Bright Enterprise Holdings Ltd part time in 2013 and loving it.
